Business Mentors
Would you consider being a business mentor?
If you have been in business for a number of years, remember back and recall the frustrations and hard times you went through in setting up and running your own business during that early period. Would YOU have benefited from having someone to use as a sounding board or 'mentor' during this trying period when the learning curve was steepest?
Over the past four years, the SBCBW has matched dozens of small business operators with mentors. The program is a huge win-win for all participants - the mentors themselves get enormous satisfaction in helping another person to avoid some of the pitfalls they themselves encountered and have the chance to pass on ideas that may help others overcome the sometime formidable odds that business people face on a regular basis! And of course the businesses being mentored have access to the experiences and knowledge of 'real' business people who have actually 'been there', 'done that' and have somehow survived to tell the tale!
